Tony White

ACTRA

Tony is an actor, singer, producer and technician of Métis heritage and is the founder of Alnico Productions Inc. the only Indigenous lead film and television production company in Southwestern, Ontario, based in the arts and culture hub of Stratford, Ontario.

Born in Val Caron, Ontario, he is a veteran of stage and screen. He is known for Carmen Keller in Breakout (The Pittsburgh 6), Dekker in Dead Anyway, Det. Carl Latorre in the Centre City Rapist, Det. Steve Guillermo in Island of Lies and Michael Pappadio in Underworld Gangs III.

His favourite theatre roles include the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz, Nicely-Nicely in Guys and Dolls, Uncle Max in the Sound of Music, King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar, The Widow Twankee in Aladdin The Panto and Donnie in Norm Foster’s The Foursome.

Tony has also performed in two operas, The Boor and Mozart’s The Impresario.
