Taylor Drake

Taylor is a fun and charismatic 9 year old who loves to perform and entertain! Her passion for dance began at the young age of 2 when she took her first ballet class. Since then she’s been dancing up a storm and delighting audiences at every chance she gets.

Taylor has been dancing competitively at Kicks Dance Studio since the age of 6. She trains extensively in hip hop, jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, contemporary and musical theatre. Taylor has won many awards, scholarships and special acknowledgements at competitions including Highest Overall Mini Solo, Personality Plus, Awesome Character and the Broadway Bound Award. A highlight for Taylor is participating in the annual musical theatre production, in which she recently played the role of Tinkerbell in Peter Pan.

Taylor loves the excitement of performing for tens of thousands of fans at Raptors games with the Toronto Raptors Lil Ballas Dance Team. In addition to dancing with this exceptional hip hop group, Taylor enjoys performing as a Raptors Dino-mite and a Carlton Cub for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Other experiences include being a back up dancer for the Mini Pops Kids live concert, appearing on an episode of YTV’s The Zone, and modelling for Canadian costume company Hamilton’s Theatrical Supply.

Taylor continues to dedicate most of her time to training, practicing and learning new skills. Her determination, exceptional work ethic and positive attitude bring her closer to her goals and make her a pleasure to work with.

In her spare time, Taylor loves playing with her dog Dutch, painting, baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
