Samantha is a multidisciplinary performer whose passion and fearless demeanor creates a contagious energy on stage. Growing up in the beautiful mountain lined town of Calgary, Alberta, Samantha fostered a love for all things performance from a very young age. Samantha is a do it all, triple threat performer who is always ready to take on new challenges, play and learn.
Having trained extensively in acting, singing, dancing and creating meaningful art- Samantha is passionate about being a part of projects that have a meaningful impact on the community. After graduating from Randolph College for the Performing Arts, Samantha has quickly become immersed in the world and culture of a performer in Toronto. Samantha has worked for the Tarragon Theatre, Nightwood Theatre under their Young Innovator Program and has also taken part of the TENT Program offered from the Toronto Fringe for entrepreneurs and emerging artists. Samantha has done everything from large dance tours to creation devised projects to 12 hours shows, Shakespeare, and smash fringe hits! Some of her favorite projects have been creating absurd horror short films with the Toronto based creation team Pandoodles, developing news plays, touring around Ontario on various school tours teaching Shakspeare and science and two years of Halloween dance fun with The Great Big Boo from Wondersee Entertainment!
Aside from performing Samantha is an avid creator and has a love for playwriting and is currently developing her first play. She also loves to explore the town, make delicious food, play ukulele, run marathons and take naps.
Samantha is thrilled to be working with da Costa Talent and is very excited for all the opportunities that the future will hold.
