Michael Rogoff

ACTRA

Born to Russian Jewish immigrants in Montreal, Michael Rogoff has been making believe and performing since he first strapped on a pair of imaginary skates and pretended to play along with the Mighty Ducks films as a toddler. After moving to Ottawa with his family, his passion for performance was truly ignited while taking part in the Ottawa Little Theatre summer camp program.

What started as a fun way to spend time with friends morphed into a serious pursuit, which would lead to the beginning of his professional career in 2014. Michael has portrayed a variety of parts since then, becoming a full member of ACTRA in 2016, and he continues to broaden his horizons through training. From the Pro Actors Lab to the Screen Acting Academy, Michael’s coaches have spurred him on to push further and helped him land parts on shows like 19-2 (2015) and Quantico (2016). Alongside film and TV, Michael is very passionate about the art of performance capture and has lent his voice and body to a number of video game projects.

While his ultimate goal remains to be cast in a Star Wars project, as long as he is performing, he is content. If he can make the audience feel something, anything, he has done his job and he’s done it well.
