I come from the nations capital. Forged through cold winters playing hockey and snowboarding and hot summers playing rugby, basketball and soccer, sports dominated my life for quite some time.

This inspired me to do an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. An injury to my knee forced me to turn to strength and conditioning to get myself back to playing shape. I became obsessed with strength training and began travelling North America to learn from the best. I lived in the gym and trained as many people as I could. This was capped with a four month internship in Massachussets with a highly regarded strength coach in the field.

After this I teamed up with Shane Duquette and Jared Polowick to launch Bony to Beastly and Bony to Bombshell, online training programs that have helped thousands of skinny people build muscle.

It was only when I wanted to play an extra year of Rugby and needed a course to be eligible that my journey into performing began. I enrolled in Intro to Theatre 101, an ‘easy’ class I could take while focusing on sports.

My first performance, after being off the theatre stage for 10 years, was a Disney Revue Show. I sang Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid.

A year after this I moved to Vancouver and enrolled in Capilano University’s Musical Theatre Diploma. Since relocating I’ve been fortunate to be in several stage shows and have been inspired by many theatre artists.

Oddly enough, after graduating I realized my dream is to be in action movies.

I’m very excited and grateful to be part of the da Costa team.
