Malik Powell

First introduced to the performing arts in grade 6, Malik Powell knew his passion was performing. His love for the craft grew throughout his high school years leading to him being named “Best Male Actor”. With a strong sense of comedic intuition mixed with raw acting, Malik’s ability to seamlessly transition from funny-man to more serious roles leaves a lot to question what it is he can’t do.

After graduating from high-school, he decided to refine his skills at the Humber School of Comedy learning sketch writing, stand-up comedy, improvisation, as well as voice and acting technique. Malik has performed in festivals such as “Big City Improv Festival”. Malik has also appeared in short films including the principal role of Eric in “Blue”.

Since, he has devoted his time continuing to train and performing on stage.
