Luke started his journey into dance at the age of 2. His mother being a dance teacher and his aunt owning a studio in Orangeville, Ontario, thrust him into the dance world, head first. He found his passion for dance through competition finding that he had a knack for performing and loved to entertain. Luke has trained in many disciplines with Tap and Hip Hop being where his love of dance has flourished the most. Eventually moving to Toronto, Ontario, Luke has continued to pursue his love for dance in the city.
Luke has had the opportunity to train with various company’s and choreographers over the years including, The Vibe Exclusive (George Jones Jr), Northside Crew (Shavar Blackwood), Footnotes (Andrew “Pyro” Chung and Mariano “Glizzi”), NuLimit (Leon Blackwood), and The Tap Dance Company (Everett Smith). This has allowed Luke to grow and gain further opportunity’s in his professional career. Luke has gotten the opportunity to perform in several places all over the world including New York, LA, Japan, Austria, Denmark, and Germany; dancing with stars such as Janet Jackson. In 2014 and 2016 Luke had the honour of representing his country in the IDO World Tap and Hip Hop Championship bringing home with him gold, silver, and bronze medals in tap. He has been featured in live performances including The Unbreakable Tour, City TV’s New Year’s Eve Bash, Carnival (New York), Club Jeté (LA) and at Toronto Raptors home basketball games. Luke has also worked on several commercial jobs including Zombies 2 and The Salt-N-Pepa Bio pic as a dancer, as well as The Next Step as a recurring actor and dancer.
Luke is always looking to level up, constantly working towards improving his dance knowledge and ability. He is looking forward to pursuing his career in dance and film as well as seeing where his passion and love for it will take him.
