Joaquín Little

Non Union

Born with a thunderous, and extremely gregarious personality, it was no surprise that the performing arts were going to play a huge part in Joaquín’s (he/him/they/them) life.

An immigrant from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Joaquín started taking advantage of everything Canada had to offer shortly after immigrating. At the age of 6, Joaquín started his performing arts journey by taking theatre classes and singing in multiple local children’s choirs. This naturally progressed into more intensive theatre and musical theatre classes throughout high school and joining an award winning vocal jazz group. In 2017, Joaquín was accepted into Capilano University’s Musical Theatre program. It was there where Joaquín was able to fully develop and evolve his passion for acting on stage and screen, and various styles of singing and dance. Since graduating, Joaquín has been fortunate enough to be working on stages all across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Alongside an undying passion for the arts, Joaquín also trained intensively in martial arts. Starting Tae Kwon Do at the age of 6, he trained for 12 years where he obtained his World Tae Kwon Do Federation’s Black Belt, competed and won in national level competitions, and subsequently trained for the Olympics.

Joaquín is humbled to be working in an industry that fosters and celebrates authenticity and diversity. He is extremely passionate about authentic representation in the arts and hopes to inspire and uplift marginalized voices.
