Jazzer Pagdanganan

Jazzer was exposed to performing through the high school competitive dance scene and instantly found his passion. Later on in his high school years, Jazzer built connections within the community and eventually joined a hip hop dance crew called C2 GENESYS. After graduating high school he began training at a professional level.

Jazzer has trained in a variety of styles focusing on hip hop and contemporary movement, and was able to train in various dance companies around Toronto such as NuLimit (Leon Blackwood), Illustrative Society (Joe Tuliao), The Male Initiative (Shavar Blackwood), and The Vibe (George Jones Jr.). Through these programs, he was able to work with many Toronto choreographers such as Amanda-May Wilson, Cora Kozaris, Mark Samuels, Gadfly, and Kojo “Tuch” Mayne. He has been a part of many stage performances such as Choreographer’s Carnival (New York), Hit The Floor (Toronto) Articien (Montreal) Choreographer’s Ball (Toronto), The Industry Night (Toronto) and has also danced alongside Toronto artists such as Ceréna, Kastilla, and Jayd Ink.

Jazzer recently expanded into the world of film and television. Jazzer was a dancer and actor in Disney’s Zombies 2 (choreographed by Jennifer Weber). He also worked with Tanisha Scott as a dancer on the Netflix series, Grand Army. Jazzer is looking forward to expanding his knowledge in the film and television industry while continuing to pursue his passion for performing.
