Isla Finkenzeller

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Isla (she/her) is known for her kind heart and maturity. Often recognized as a little “old soul,” she is dedicated and committed to working hard in all that she does.

Isla’s love for dance started at the age of 2 at Jo Read School of Dance in London. She has competed since the age of 6 and currently trains in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Acro, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, and Improv. As a versatile competitive dancer, Isla has been recognized in many different genres by earning awards and scholarships, including NUVO Standout Scholarship and JUMP VIP Runner Up. She continues to develop as a dancer by participating in conventions and workshops with some of the dance industry’s most-recognized professionals such as Mark Meismer, Stacey Tookey, Phil Wright, Teddy Forance, Akira Uchida, Molly Long, and many others.

Isla’s love for performing encouraged her to take Acting classes with Armstrong Acting Studios. Her recent acting experiences on camera have allowed her to showcase her talent as both an actor and a dancer. Each experience has fueled her interest to pursue other opportunities in the industry.

When Isla is not performing, competing, or training, she enjoys school activities and sports all while maintaining straight-A grades. She is a member of her school’s Student Council, various sports teams, and clubs, enjoying every opportunity that comes her way. In her spare time, Isla loves spending time with family and friends, reading, and watching Star Wars and Marvel movies.
