“Let your smile change the world, but don’t let the world change your smile”
– Connor Franta

Emery Peace (she/her) is an enthusiastic and determined dancer, actor and singer from the Waterloo Region. She fell in love with the stage when she began dancing at the age of two and has worked hard to pursue her passion for performing since then.

Emery has been dancing competitively for 10 years, currently at Evolve Dance Centre, where she’s won countless awards and scholarships. She has trained with Agnew Acting Studios and had the pleasure of taking private acting lessons with him. On top of her love for dancing and acting, she has always enjoyed singing and has worked with Amanda Brunk, Robin Warwick and Amanda Kind.

Emery spent many summers as a young performer with The Singer’s Theatre, where she met her vocal coach Robin Warwick and was encouraged to start auditioning for Drayton Entertainment (DE) and KW Glee! She was in two pre-professional programs with DE and has been in three children’s choruses, with highlights being her role as Young Aurora in Sleeping Beauty: The Panto! and Young Kangaroo and JoJo’s understudy in Seussical the Musical Jr.! Emery just completed a co-op with DE, where she has been on the running crew for Driving Miss Daisy, Mamma Mia and Wizard of Oz: The Panto! Emery was also acting dance captain for the children’s chorus during the first couple weeks of rehearsals! Emery has loved being a featured dancer with KW Glee. During the pandemic, she discovered her love for on-camera acting, when she was cast in a lead role in the feature film Twin Tied.

When not on stage or in rehearsals, Emery spends her time with family and friends, thrifting, rock climbing and working on her tumbling/acro skills! She is a vegetarian and activist for human rights, inspired by her parents and strives to make a difference in the world.
