Elora Sarmiento

CAEA

Elora Sarmiento is a Canadian-Filipina singer, actor, and dancer who absolutely loves to tell stories through performance. She found solace through song from a young age, which stemmed into her love for live performance.

Growing up in Markham, she attended the Arts Unionville Voice Program at Unionville High School, where she trained in classical voice, chamber, and concert choir. Throughout high school she kept herself busy with community theatre productions, eventually falling in love with the community that musical theatre offered. Deciding to further her studies in musical theatre, she completed the joint Bachelor of Musical Theatre Program between St. Lawrence College and Queen’s University. Throughout her education, she was awarded the Bob & Lorna Richardson Scholarship (Unionville High School) and the Jacqueline Brougham Memorial Award (SLC) for her passion and commitment to her artform.

Elora looks forward to developing her artistic practice along with da Costa Talent, and is so excited for what’s to come.
