Daniel Tamburro is a teen performer whose passion for the arts started at a very young age. Raised in Vaughan, Ontario, he entered his first dance class at the early age of 3 and joined the competitive team at the age of 5. He is currently in the Regional Arts Dance Program in High School where he is an honour student. Daniel is also a classically trained pianist and is currently pursuing his Level 9 RCM certification.

Daniel trains in many genres of dance including, jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and modern. Most recently, he enriched his training in the ProArteDanza Summer Intensive program. He also had the honour of joining the Opus Dance Collective Junior Team on a performance piece.

Daniel’s passion for dance and performing landed him a spot on the Toronto Raptors Lil Ballas Dance Team from 2017-2022 where he entertained thousands of fans. The team also enjoyed several television appearances including performing on Breakfast Television and travelling to NYC to perform on Good Morning America during the 2019 NBA finals. Daniel’s live performance experience was further extended to other MLSE endeavours including being the “Official Pup Mascot” for the Toronto Marlies and acting as “Jersey Kid” at Toronto Maple Leaf games.

Apart from his strong passion for live performances, Daniel’s most recent growth has been dancing and acting in film and television. Daniel recently completed work in a new Netflix television series set to be released in 2023. He also appears as a Chorus Performer in the Netflix movie “13: The Musical” (2022). Other notable highlights include appearing in multiple music videos and commercials for the Mini Pop Kids, and being cast in various commercials both nationally and internationally. Daniel continues to expand his acting skills by taking classes and coaching sessions.

As a competitive dancer, Daniel has caught the attention of judges in both Canada and the United States earning himself many recognitions and titles. He was an “Official Member of Beat Squad” in 2019 attending Dancer Palooza in California and he was awarded 1st Place Soloist at The Dance Awards in Orlando in 2019. He holds the titles of Mini & Junior-Mister Dance Champion from Bedazzled (2017 & 2019) and Mini-Mister Candance in Orlando (2016).

In sharp contrast to the performing arts, Daniel is also an intense athlete and an avid sports fan. He has played rep soccer for the Vaughan Soccer Club from a very young age.

Whatever the future holds for Daniel, he knows that there is nothing he loves more than performing for audiences and is committed to continuing to evolve in doing the things he loves.
