Cara Pantalone

Cara stormed into the acting world playing Cirrus the Cloud in the elementary school blockbuster, “Weather You Like It Or Not”. Hailing from Ottawa, Cara became active in its local theatre, church choirs, public speaking and the Canadian Improv Games.

A versatile performer, some of Cara’s favourite roles include: Pam Lukowski in The Full Monty, Mrs. Mayor in Seussical The Musical. She looks forward to returning to the Sudbury Theatre Centre in the spring of 2011 for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Rona Lisa Peretti.

An avid performer in the Toronto improv community, Cara can be seen around town improvising with her wicked awesome long form team Operation Burning Sky. Improv highlights include: the sold out run of the improvised soap opera “Welcome to Town”, the ground breaking “Formations”, and the 2009 Canadian Comedy Award nominated show “Troubador”.

When not on stage you might find Cara in local vintage and antique shops looking for one of a kind finds, watching classic movies with The Apartment being one of her favourites, or teaching in the kids program at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts.
