Born in Toronto and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, Caitlin’s performing career began when her parents enrolled her in dance classes at a local K-W studio at the age of 11. She never looked back. After years spent studying Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical and Hip Hop and competing across North America, Caitlin describes the time spent in Austin, Texas with American Ballet Theater as a turning point in her training.
Caitlin later graduated from the Music Theatre – Performance Program at Sheridan College where she studied Voice, Acting, Dance, Music and Commercial Performance and was presented with the Triple Threat Award at the end of her first year. In addition to her Canadian training, Caitlin is proud to have studied Meisner technique at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York City. It was there that she was taught by Meisner’s protégé, Ron Stetson and the ever-inspiring Gary Gendell.
Caitlin has worked professionally across Canada in Film, Television and Musical Theatre. The honesty and commitment that she brings to her work is what sets her apart and her passion for the arts is what drives Caitlin to continue to learn and expand her knowledge and understanding of her craft as well as the world around her.
