Brett Holland

SAG-AFTRA | AEA

Born in Los Angeles, Brett (he/him) spent his formative years in Toronto, where, as a young boy, he saw a production of Peter Pan that convinced him he wanted to spend his life acting.

At 9 years old, Brett and his family moved back to California, and he began studying acting and working in local theater companies. Flash-forward to college, Brett graduated Suma Cum Laude from San Francisco State University, double-majoring in Theater Arts and French. In the Bay Area, he began his professional acting career, working in theater, commercial, and print, before moving to New York City.

In NYC, Brett immersed himself in the theater community, working in off-Broadway and off-off Broadway, as well as being cast as a recurring bellman in ABC’s daytime episodic, All My Children.

Upon returning to Los Angeles, Brett wrote and starred in a play, before breaking in to commercials. During his time in Los Angeles, Brett starred in over 3-dozen national commercials and voice-overs, for brands from Dollar Shave Club to Mitsubishi. In 2020, Brett transitioned to work in TV / film and was cast in Netflix’s Hollywood and YOU, as well as in Channing Tatum’s feature film, DOG.

Bi-lingual in French, and an impassioned teacher of History, Literature, Language, Political Science, and college advising, Brett is a connoisseur of film, film history, architecture, and design.

Brett now lives in Vancouver and brings his love for acting and the arts with him to the Province. Excited for the opportunities that Vancouver offers, Brett’s energy and drive, as well as his commitment to environmentalism, guides his daily life as an actor, teacher, and advocate.
