Ashley has had a passion for the arts for as long as she can remember. Raised in Toronto, Ontario, she was born to perform and entered her first dance class at the early age of 4. From the moment she entered the room, she felt an instant connection with the art of dance and, from then on, she knew that her relationship with the arts would last a lifetime.

Ashley graduated from Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance’s Elite Competitive team, and has trained in many genres of dance including, jazz, tap, ballet/pointe, hip hop, jazz-funk, lyrical, contemporary, modern and most recently, ballroom. In addition, she continued her training at a performing arts high school, Cawthra Park Secondary School, where she was an honours graduate of the Regional Arts Dance Program. Throughout her career, her passion, determination and talent has been strongly recognized, allowing her the incredible opportunity to work with, and assist, some of the industry’s leading dancers and choreographers including; Mia Michaels, Stacey Tookey, Evelyn Hart, Jennifer Nichols, Garrett Smith, Tiler Peck, Stephanie Rutherford, Tiffany McLachlan, Derek Piquette and Mitchell Jackson.

This young artist is an award winning, highly experienced performer on stage, and in front of the camera. She has performed at various venues across Los Angeles, New York City and Canada, and has danced for artists such as Jessie Reyez, Alx Veliz, Blake McGrath, Harout Bedrossian, Taya Marquis and Dana Ben David. Ashley has also been showcased in a variety of TV productions including, The Next Step, Backstage, and most recently, has further developed her acting skills through landing the role of Gwen in Netflix’s Tiny Pretty Things, airing in 2020.

Although her most recent focus involves dancing and acting in TV/Film, Ashley has maintained a strong passion for live performance. Throughout her career, she has performed in many shows such as Gadfly’s Production of UNBXBL II, Hit The Floor Gatineau, Dance Ontario, Hit and Run Productions, Blake McGrath’s Tour, CMHA Conference, Signature Dance Inc’s Escapade, and was featured in multiple pieces at Fever After Dark and Toronto’s Original Choreographer’s Ball. Throughout the years, her brilliance in the arts has been recognized and, in return, she has received numerous awards for her hard work and dedication. Most notably, she was awarded Vice World Champion at the IDO World Dance Championships in Germany, where she was a part of Team Canada, was a two time Top 10 Senior Female Best Dancer at the Dance Awards in Orlando (2016, 2017), and was the recipient of the Award of Excellence for Ballet (2015/15), Contemporary (2015/16) and Overall Excellence (2016/17) at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance.

Throughout the years, her intense passion to dance, and strong ambition to follow her dreams interlaced and are what spurred her motivation to pursue the arts at a professional level. Ashley consistently challenges herself by setting high standards, striving to improve and taking risks in order to achieve her goals and establish herself as a high caliber, well-rounded artist. She looks forward to seeing what her future holds, and is eager to turn her dreams into success.
