Arta (she/her) has had a boundless love for singing, dancing, and acting ever since she first became old enough to understand what they were. It’s because of that joy that she first begged for formal training and started dancing at Tri-City Dance Centre from the age of 3. Arta is trained in several types of dance such as tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, ballet, contemporary, lyrical and pointe. She began her on-camera acting training at Tri-Cities Film Studio. Arta feels most at home when she’s on a stage or in front of a camera.
Along with numerous small scale performances, Arta notably has preformed in musicals, Once on this Island (Fabulist Theatre), Fiddler on the Roof (RCMT), A Christmas Story (Align Entertainment), and in professional productions of Billy Elliot (Arts Club) and Mamma Mia (Theatre Under The Stars). She’s most obsessed right now with Broadway and the world of Film and TV. Arta has eagerly performed in short films, dramatic stage productions and recently made her TV debut in Netflix’s series “The Baby-Sitters Club”.
Arta currently attends a French immersion high school, while also being fluent in Farsi. She is recognized instantly for her outgoing personality and never ending smile. When she’s not performing or keeping up her stellar grades, Arta loves playing the piano, singing her heart out with friends, or cuddling her kitten and puppy. She looks forward to meeting many new people in the industry and exploring her artistry!
