Arta Negahban is a Persian-Canadian multidisciplinary artist with a boundless love for acting, dancing, and singing.

Her training began at the age of 3 in Vancouver in several types of competitive dance such as R.A.D ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical and modern at Tri City Dance Centre where she was recognized for her dynamic style and on-stage presence. She expanded into the world of acting through formal training at Tri-Cities Film Studio alongside instructor and founder Lisa Durupt, as well as Toby Levins and Lane Edwards.

As a teenager, Arta was training more than 30 hours a week in dance, acting, and singing, while balancing her academics.

With talent that shines both on stage and screen, most recently Arta’s set to captivate audiences with a recurring role in Hulu’s upcoming series Under the Bridge to be released in 2024. She made her TV debut as a dancer in the series The Baby-Sitters Club (Netflix). Along with numerous small scale performances of short films and commercials, Arta has notably performed as a triple threat in musicals. Some of her favorite credits include Billy Elliot (The ArtsClub), Once On This Island (Fabulist Theatre) and Mamma Mia (Theatre Under The Stars)

Now based in Montreal, she’s fully immersed in the arts scene, focusing on studies in film production while pursuing her love for performance. Arta eagerly anticipates further exploration and growth in the world of film, TV and theater. Her dedication to the arts is unwavering, and she’s excited for the adventures that lie ahead!
