“You may see me cry, you may see me fall, but you’ll never see me quit!”

When William was 3 years old, he heard “Oh Canada” being sung at a live event for the first time. That night, he sang the entire song perfectly, without any practice or prodding. It was from that moment that his Mom knew he has a special gift.

He started taking vocal lesson when he was 6 years old, and receiving the guidance from an accomplished coach has been both instrumental in his development and inspirational to what he can accomplish.

William has taken part in four separate plays at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre. His favourite role was Rafiki in “The Lion King”. The other productions were “The Sound of Music”, “Willie Wonka” and “Elf”. As William gained experience, the staff entrusted him with progressively harder and more serious roles. He is also a part of his school’s production of “Mary Poppins”, where he will be playing Burt who is the narrator of the story and best friend .

William has been a regular on the singing contest circuit. He has many first place finishes. A highlight for him was participating in the CNE Rising star Talent contest this past summer. William made it to the finals in his first year at the event. He has also qualified for the finals of the Western Fair Talent contest in the Fall of 2020.

A highlight for William was singing both the American and Canadian National Anthems for the Erie Otters of the OHL in front of 2,000+ spectators. His performance was flawless which has resulted in the Otters (at the request of their fans) asking him back to sing for them at their next playoff game.

William can also sing in Mandarin with experience singing at churches. In addition to singing and acting, William can also play the piano, at grade 8 level and saxophone in school concert band.
William’s other hobbies include hockey, social media and spending time with his friends at the trampoline dome.
