Troy Goldthorp (he/him) originates from Calgary, Alberta, where he started his music training at the age of six. After playing roles such as Marius (Les Miserables), Snoopy (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), Gilbert (Anne of Green Gables), and Laurie (Little Women), Troy appeared in the Calgary Opera’s world premiere of Bramwell Tovey and John Murrell’s ‘The Inventor’, as well as the Canadian premier of ‘Moby Dick’; composed by Jake Heggie.

Troy made his Toronto debut playing Colin Powell in Randolph
Academy’s production of David Hare’s ‘Stuff Happens’, and recently completed portraying The Baker in the Academy’s ‘Into The Woods’. Troy graduated in the Summer 2014 class from the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts, and was the recipient of the ‘Triple Threat’ award upon completion.
