Theresa Coombe

Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Theresa Coombe is a true triple threat; actor, dancer and singer who has spent most of her professional career in New York City.

Theresa’s training in the performing arts began in Vancouver at the Goh Ballet, which led to scholarships from various organizations such as the Banff Centre for the Arts and the Vancouver Ballet Society. She has also trained extensively in acting in Vancouver and New York City from well-known institutions and instructors. Her versatility is shown in her accomplishments, which include being a former NBA Grizzlies Dance Team member and CFL B.C. Lions cheerleader, to a mentoring dancer with Ballet B.C.

Theresa also has had an extensive career in modeling and was crowned Miss Vancouver before making the move to the East Coast. While living in Toronto and NYC, Theresa became a successful fit model for multiple well-known brands, as well as for commercials and music videos. At the same time, Theresa embarked on a recording artist career under the name Teresa Louise. Her music was played throughout Canada, and she toured overseas to promote herself.

Theresa’s theatre highlights include Broadway’s “Chicago” the musical and the National Tour of “Dirty Dancing on Stage”. Other credits include; Broadway Cares – Wonderland, Stage West Calgary – Damn Yankees (Gloria Thorpe u/s), Theatre Under The Stars – Little Shop Of Horrors (Chiffon), Royal City Musical Theatre – Hello Dolly (Irene Molloy u/s) and Mame (Gloria Upson).

Screen credits include “Chicago” the film, Center Stage 2, Saving Silverman, The Goodbye Girl, Smallville, and The David Letterman Show.

Theresa now calls Vancouver home once again, and lives with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Theresa enjoys volunteering and helping with local theatre and musical productions, going for nature walks, yoga and dining out with her friends and family.
