Steven Chau is a dancer, choreographer, and performer from Markham, Ontario. He started training in urban dance, street jazz, and hip hop under VYbE Dance Company since 2010 and has taught classes at Millennium Dance Complex Toronto, DanceLife X, The Underground Dance Centre, VYbE, and Prestige Dance Studio. He has directed for dance teams such as EVO, K9, IE Crew, and Ground9, and has performed at multiple dance events such as Drop The Beat (featuring Just Jerk Crew), Toronto K-PopCon, Beatdown, BYOB, Urban Rumble, Prelude NY/Toronto, and Final Stretch.

Steven has also assisted in choreographing for Kin Nguien’s Project Lullaby 0 and Tomboy, Warner Brothers Music, and Universal Music Canada. Steven has trained with industry professionals such as Lia Kim, Brian Puspos, Keone and Mari Madrid, Vinh Nguyen, Jerome Esplana, Sorah Yang, and Kevin Vasquez. He describes his choreography style as witty, unconventional, high energy, explosive, unapologetic, and with lots of wordplay. He hopes to eventually travel around the world to teach and perform for famous musicians and artists, or eventually become a famous artist himself.
