Sofia khachi is a natural and passionate performer born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her love for the art of dance began at age 2 when she started training at Canadian Dance Company under the direction of Allain Lupien. Here, she was able to expand her knowledge in jazz, contemporary, hiphop, ballet, acro, tap and ballroom which has shaped her into the versatile dancer that she is today. During her time in competitive dance, Sofia received many prestigious awards at national dance events including Move Champion Soloist, Fever PowerHouse Soloist, One National Teen soloist and many others. Throughout the years, she had the opportunity to work under inspiring artists such as Mia Micheals, Tanisha Scott, Travis Wall, Talia Favia, Kevin Frey, Mark Samuels and Gil Duldulao.

As Sofia transitioned into the professional dance industry, her love for hip hop grew immensely. Focusing more on the style, Sofia found herself travelling all across the United States to Los Angeles and New York and many other places to learn more and build connections. While travelling, she immersed herself into the convention world, winning many scholarships and awards from conventions such as Tremaine Dance Convention, Pulse on Tour, JUMP Dance Convention, Radix Dance Convention and several others.

Sofia has had the opportunity to perform in many dance shows including Fever After Dark, Choreoball and HER creative. As well, she has danced in live performances and music videos for local artists. Her television and film credits include Grand Army, skeleton dancer for Let it Snow and Julie and The Phantoms where she had the chance to work with world renowned director, Kenny Ortega.

Sofia is currently training in acting at Armstrong Studios. As well, she is constantly furthering her knowledge of dance, while studying business at Ryerson University.
Sofia strives to challenge and push herself everyday to help her to become the best version of herself. She is eager to step out of her box and train in new things. Sofia continues to work hard and is excited to see what her future holds.
