Sentayehu is a professional dancer in Toronto, Ontario. She started dancing at an early age, under several dance instructors involving various dance disciplines including tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop and highland. After highscool Sentayehu graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts- Dance. During these years she was a member of a dance group Flomatk under Tara Wilson. She also performed in the University of Calgary Theatre show (Montage). Soon after graduation she moved to Toronto to continue on to the next stage in her career.

During her time in Toronto she has been an active member of the dance community performing and training with such company’s as Boss Dance Company under Leah Totten, Lu Limit Premire under Leon Blackwood, and The Girls Club under Tamina Polllack-Paris. As a result of all this, Sentayehu has traveled to LA, Califonia to participate in The GalenHooks Method under Galen Hooks. These different styles of dance gave Sentayehu greater stage presence, introduced her to many new and versatile movements with unique style and the ability to dance comfortably in heels. All of these experiences gave Sentayehu the opportunity and inspiration to develop her own personal and unique dance styles.

In her dance career she has had the honour of performing for Anne Marie for the Much Music Awards, Keisha Chante for Toronto festival, Simone Denny for the Harry Jerome Awards on CP24 Breakfast News Channel, Elijah Woods & Jamie Fine for iHeartRadio Jingle Ball and a Cheerleader for Toronto Wolfpack Rugby Team. She has performed in a wide range of music videos including Blame You with Christina Sayers, Leave It Smokin with Tamia Hill, Slow Up with Ginette Claudette and Gwan Big Up Yourself with Roy Woods. She has also performed in dance showcases for Jayd Ink ,Black Diamond Ball, Sony Music Canada Entertainment and the World Of Dance Toronto.

During her modellng career she has worked with Nivea Canada, Adidas Canada, Tendu Active,Perfecly Nude, Kaspi Creative and Raw Artist Toronto showcase.

Sentayehu is committed and determined to follow her dreams in dance and modelling.
