Born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario, Sarah Caraher is a firecracker on stage. A versatile vocalist and a captivating actress, Sarah began musical training and performance at a young age. By the time she graduated high school, she had achieved her Grade Eight in Vocals and Piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music.

She then attended St. Clair College’s Music Theatre Performance program, where she performed roles such as Madeleine in Pélagie and Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone, as well as being a featured soloist in Christmas in Vegas. During the summers, she worked as a performer with The Lambton Mainstreet Players, an instrumental and vocal music group that entertained throughout Sarnia-Lambton. In the summer of 2013, when the Mainstreet Players was no longer able to operate, Sarah started her own music business, Sounds of Summer, in its place. She addressed all administrative and marketing needs of the business as well as performing in over 60 shows.

After completing her studies at St. Clair College, Sarah travelled to Vancouver, where she earned her Bachelor of Performing Arts degree at Capilano University. There, she created and performed in original collaborative work in both the Vancouver Fringe Festival and the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival.

Upon graduation, Sarah began her career with a bang, landing the title role in Theatre Calgary’s production of The Little Prince – the world premiere of a new musical written by James D. Reid and Nicholas Lloyd Webber. She brought the classic story, based on the novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, to life alongside musical theatre veterans such as Louise Pitre and Adam Brazier. Following this, Sarah was thrilled to join the companies of Victoria Playhouse Petrolia’s The Church Basement Ladies: A Mighty Fortress is Our Basement as Beverly and Podium Concert Productions’ The Secret Garden: in Concert as Mary. Sarah is currently based in Toronto and is excited to continue her career with da Costa Talent.

Sarah is an avid Harry Potter fan, enjoys baking in her spare time, and is constantly cooking up bad puns.
