– Jennifer Lee

Sara Hinding is a passionate and energetic performer who hails from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario but now calls Toronto home. She grew up in the world of competitive dance which sparked her love for performing and creating from a young age. After high school she was accepted into the Jazz/Musical Theatre program at the prestigious School at Jacob’s Pillow and had the chance to perform in their 2014 Festival Season. She graduated from Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts (2017) and was awarded the Governor General’s award for highest overall academic standing.

Sara now works as an actor, dancer, singer in Toronto but most recently had the opportunity to be a part of Theatre Calgary’s production of the new Canadian musical ‘The Louder We Get’ (2020) under the guidance of broadway director Lonny Price. When she is not on the stage Sara has also worked on an array of film and television projects, most recently Netflix’s ‘V Wars’ series, ‘Web of Lies’ series and ‘That is All’ ,a Canadian written and directed independent feature film, in addition to several commercials, music videos and independent short films. Sara has also performed at the AGO Massive event (2016), Toronto Fringe Festival (2018) and Nuit Blanche (2018 and 2019) working with some of Toronto’s brilliantly creative artists on a variety of devised theatre projects including the workshopping of an original musical.

On her own time she loves to create whether that is by choreographing, drawing, painting, practicing handstands or polishing her ukulele skills (which she will keep working on).
