“Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.”
– Master Oogway (Bil Keane)

Sam Jamieson, originally hailing from Burlington, Ontario, is a versatile and quirky multi-faceted artist. She has studied at Second City Toronto, Steps On Broadway, and Broadway Dance Centre, as well as Randolph College, where she graduated as an honours student and the recipient of the coveted “Triple Threat Graduate Award” for outstanding, multi-dimensional talent. Since graduating, she has been busy consistently working locally and internationally as a musical theatre and film actress.

Those who know and work with Sam are eager to say that her playful zest for life, inspiring passion and drive, and infectious personality make her a joy to collaborate with! She is grateful to be pursuing this messy, fulfilling career, and prides herself on bringing her full heart and humanity to every role she has the privilege of portraying. She is always looking for new opportunities to grow, and continues her training at Metro Movement, Lewis Baumander Acting Studio, and Louisa Burgess-Colbert Voice Studios.

When Sam isn’t busting a move, dropping into character, or belting her heart out, she loves spending her free time outdoors enjoying nature, painting, writing, DIY’ing and snuggling her cat, Mia, and dog, Indy (yes, he’s named after her first ever crush… Indiana Jones!). Some of her biggest role models include Lucille Ball, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kate Rockwell.
