Rochelle LaBrecque began her training at the age of 3 in all forms of dance. Her love for ballet blossomed while attending the National Ballet of Canada. Growing up at a competitive studio, Rochelle received several scholarships, as well as the title Junior Dancer of the Year from Tremaine Dance Conventions. She then toured with Tremaine for two years, assisting Joe Tremaine, Wade Robson, Doug Caldwell, Desiree Robins and Dan Karaty.

Her professional debut was choreographing for the NBA/WNBA Detroit Pistons and Detroit Shock at the age of 13. Rochelle then found herself on the big screen as a featured dancer in the Disney film Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen. Rochelle moved to Los Angeles where she continued teaching, choreographing and auditioning, when she landed a role in the North American tour of the Broadway show Movin’ Out, choreographed by Twyla Tharp. Once the tour ended Rochelle began dancing with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Rochelle keeps busy teaching and choreographing throughout Canada and the United States.

Rochelle is also a highly regarded teacher and choreographer. While working for the NBA, Rochelle judged the auditions and help put together the dance team for the Detroit Pistons, and the Detroit Fury. Rochelle has taught master classes and workshops throughout the United States and Canada. Rochelle has also been a guest choreographer for several dance studios across Canada and the United States. Rochelle’s love for educating and inspiring drives her to continue teaching, choreographing and encouraging young dancers around the world.
