Richard began his stage career at age 3 with a recitation of “A Visit From St Nicholas” and his singing career the following year with “Silent Night”. He never looked back.

Richard has performed in regional theatre productions, in Southern Ontario, of drama, musical theatre and Opera. From chorus to comprimario to principal roles, Richard has brought his characters to life to audience and critical acclaim.

Favourite roles include Sir Danvers Carew in Jekyll and Hyde, Buddy Fidler in City of Angels and Mr. Bumble in Oliver.

He has performed in dozens of outdoor interactive festivals portraying famous wizards, English kings and other historical characters using his vast knowledge of history to bring reality to his roles.
He has appeared in television and independent film for over 20 years portraying the good guy and the villain.

Richard brings his vast array of characters, dialects, accents and languages to his Voiceover work as well in the e-learning, medical narration, explainer, audiobook and animation genres.
