Raymond Scott

Raymond Scott was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Raymond is of First Nation Ojibwe status and contributes within his community. Raymond began acting during high school in theatre before discovering and attending the Toronto Film School. He began his career shortly after graduating from the diploma program Toronto Film School in 2023. When Raymond is not in front of the camera, he attends events at his reservation in Alderville, Ontario, Canada. In Mid 2018 he did a live audition for Vancouver Film School and was offered a four-month scholarship in the Acting, Television and theatre program.

During Raymond’s time at Toronto Film School, he won numerous awards for outstanding performances. In his career, he starred in The Long Zi’s as The Don, and in the Papermill Theatre play It’s a Wonderful Life supporting 4 roles thought out the play. He is fortunate to work with directors Andy Massingham, Rosanna Saracino, John Higgins, Catherine McNally and John Tench. Raymond takes great pride in the training he was given and continuously exercises what he has learned throughout his career. Raymond always took in as much information as possible, creating lifelong friendships along the way. He strives in the voiceover booth, on stage, as well as on and off the camera.

Raymond wants to be an Indigenous superhero in a Marvel film, play Wolverine and any action and comedy movies. Raymond’s interests are taking guitar lessons, writing new scripts, spending time with family and friends, playing video games, listening to music and of course watching movies. He is hoping to one day be able to learn to sing and get trained in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo and kickboxing. Raymond likes to calm his mind and relax before giving it his all when he is back on camera.
