Raina, 15, has been involved with the performing arts since a very young age. She started playing piano at the age of 4, guitar and ukulele since the age of 12, dancing competitively since the age of 8, and has been singing and recording albums professionally since the age of 10. Raina is also involved with musical theatre as she has played lead roles in Fame, The Little Mermaid, Footloose, and played Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.

Raina was a member of a group called the Mini Pop Kids from the age of 10 to 14 yrs old. Raina worked on 3 albums with MPK, has performed at sold out concert shows across Canada, including the World Cup of Hockey, has been involved in music videos, commercials, and TV appearances such as CTV, CP24, Breakfast Television, CHCH TV and Rogers TV.

As a solo recording artist, some of the highlights of Raina’s music career include performing to a massive audience for WE Day at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Touring Canada and the US to sold out concert venues, and having her Guys vs. Girls Mash up with Jake Donaldson go viral with over 8 million views on YouTube, over 50 million views on Facebook, and over 4 million on Instagram. Raina has also been fortunate enough to perform at Oakville Jazz Fests, Burlington Rib Fests, Christmas Tree Lighting events, a Royal Bank Gala, Toronto Youth Days, and Rock Your Hair Concerts the past few years. She has been interviewed on TV and radio and was a musical guest artist on Tiny Talent Time when she was 10 yrs old.

Raina has always had an interest in acting since her musical theatre days and would like to get back into acting on stage and in film and television. Some of her acting credits include parts in Kids vs. Zombies, We Are Savvy, and Mega Monster Mayhem.

Beyond the performing arts, Raina is passionate about global issues. Raina has been outspoken about Mental Health, Gender and Race Equality, and Economic disparities. Raina had led her own workshop partnered with Iviva/Lululemon for Girl Empowerment and spent time in Africa with Me to WE building school rooms and will make her way out to India next summer to volunteer her time again.

Raina is looking forward to getting back into acting, finishing up her 5 song EP album to be released in 2019, performing again with WE Day in Ottawa this November 2018, and getting involved more with causes she believes in.
