Nolan (he/him) is an 11 year old actor, singer and piano player. His enthusiasm and love for acting, singing and music has been apparent from a young age. Nolan loves to make people happy and entertain them with his joyful personality. He is high energy, outgoing, follows direction well, and learns quickly. He enjoys working with others and meeting new people.
Nolan made his professional acting debut at the Stratford Festival Theatre, recognized worldwide for its productions of Shakespearean plays. He was featured in the 2019 season as Falstaff’s Paige, Robin, in The Merry Wives of Windsor. He was recognized with a Guthrie Award by the Festival for his performance. He captured the attention of critics and audience members alike throughout his 52 performances. The play was also filmed for Cineplex and aired on CBC, CBC Gem and was released on DVD, giving him an introduction to film production.
His journey into the arts began at the age of 18 months in the Brand New Beat Music program, followed by piano and vocal lessons at the age of 5. He has performed at the Kiwanis Music Festival for several years in both piano and vocals in classical, pop and music theatre, winning many regional awards in each category including Top Boy Soprano and Stratford Junior Pianist. Recently, Nolan placed 2nd in both Musical Theatre Vocals and Piano Duets at the Ontario Music Festival’s Provincial competition. In addition to solo vocals, Nolan also enjoys singing as a group and is currently a member of the London Amabile Boys Treble Concert Choir. He began his acting training at Playmakers! with a focus on Shakespeare, where he caught the acting bug. Nolan also loves to dance. He has studied Jazz, and Musical Theatre and Ballet at On Stage Dance Studio in Stratford.
When not acting and singing, Nolan participates in many sports and activities including scouts, soccer, baseball, hockey, cross country running and swimming. He enjoys spending time with his mom, dad, younger brother and two cats, Lucy and Chester.
