Nico Solarte

Nico Solarte (they/them) is a Colombian-Canadian multidisciplinary artist, integrated mindfulness guide, and movement coach with a passion for storytelling and the expansion of consciousness through creativity.

Nico began their musical training at the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Colombia at age eight, studying theory and classical piano before pursuing further training in acting and vocal performance.

After graduating from the Honours Bachelor of Musical Theatre Performance program at Sheridan College, Nico traveled extensively, taking a pause from performing and choosing to focus on commercial dance training. Since then, Nico has returned to the industry and is excited to transcend boundaries through their creative work and continue to advocate for representation and equity within the arts.

Nico is also the founder and creative producer of Existt Soul Centre, a QBIPOC artist-driven wellness collective fostering higher consciousness through mindfulness, creativity, and community building – @existtcentre.
