Born in Iran, Navid moved to Canada with his family at age 12. He began dancing recreationally, and after finding a passion for hip hop, he received his post-graduate training in Vancouver with the KTL Company and PraiseTEAM Studio. He gained experience performing live with Project Soul Company under the artistic direction of Kim Sato, most notably in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony and opening for R&B artists 112 in their reunion tour.

Upon signing with da Costa Talent, Navid quickly built his resume in several notable projects such as ABC’s ‘Once Upon a Time’, the Netflix original ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’, Nickelodeon’s film ‘Jinxed’, and Disney’s ‘Descendants’ and ‘Descendants 2’ directed by Kenny Ortega. He has been featured in music videos with artists Keys N Krates, Adonis the Greek, Anami Vice, KA.lil, ByStarLight and many more.

Along with his passion for dance, Navid graduated from Vancouver Community College’s baking and pastry arts program in 2012. He participated in Mister World Canada in 2015 and was named first runner up amongst numerous competitors from across Canada. He has worked in front of the lens as a model, and trained with some of Vancouver’s strongest acting coaches- Marc-Anthony Massiah, Jeb Beach, Iris Quinn and Nadine Wright.

He continues to strive to share is love of dance with his students and colleagues and is continuously searching for new ways to grow as a performing artist. He has built a solid reputation as a performer that is great to work with, with a solid work ethic and an endearing personality.

Navid is currenlty living, working and training in Los Angeles, California.
