“Overcome the notion that you must be regular. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary.”
– Uta Hagen

Nathan Fadear grew up in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, but knew from a very young age that living in a small town would not be a big enough stage for the career he wanted. Nathan started performing at the age of 14 and trained in various dance styles at Just For Kicks Dance Studio.

Once graduating high school, he moved to Vancouver to pursue a professional career in dance. In 2010, Nathan performed in the Opening Ceremonies for the Vancouver Winter Olympics as the cultural sections opening dramatic performer. Following the Olympics, Nathan trained under the direction of Heather Laura Gray as part of the “INdustry” dance training program and also with Moses Ahser Christen’s Lux Dance Company.

Nathan performed on multiple contracts for Princess Cruise Lines, in music videos, film/tv shows (credits include, Riverdale, Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Haters Back Off, Man in the High Castle, the remake of Disney’s Freaky Friday, and Hallmark channels Love at First Dance). Many of his dance experience have brought international travel, including travelling to Sweden to perform for the International Diabetic Conference working with Kip John Productions and Poland for the International Polish Folk Festival. Currently, Nathan is teaching at Harbour Dance Centre and hosting workshops at multiple lower mainland studios.

Nathan is presently working on his next chapter including choreography, adjudication, and production.

With his outgoing personality and connection to some of Vancouver’s largest events and performances, Nathan is excited to take the entertainment world to new heights.
