Nadia is a 19-year-old dancer who has always had a strong passion for performing. She fell in love with the Arts when she first stepped foot into the dance studio at the age of 3. Since that time, Nadia’s desire to dance has only grown stronger over the years, becoming a central focus in her life. She is born and raised in Brockville Ontario, and currently resides in Toronto.
Nadia has extensive dance training which grew while competing in dance as well as completing different grades of ballet examination in the BATD syllabus. She is an extremely versatile dancer who excels in multiple genres including jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary,modern, contemporary floorwork, partnering and freestyle.
Nadia is currently in their 2nd year at Toronto Metropolitan University for a Bachelor of Fine arts in the performance dance program. Studying styles of Ballet, Vernacular Jazz, Modern, West African, and street styles as well as furthering her knowledge of music, completing courses such as singing and music theory. Outside of school, Nadia is a part of Kode Red Academy, an adult female-identifying training academy focusing on street styles and Commercial dance. She also has been focusing outside time on project-based work and short-term training programs such as attending ProArteDanza SIP 2022 where she performed work by Robert Glumbek and Roberto Campanella. Along with dance, Nadia Has been teaching since the age of 15 and choreographing for local studios since 16.
Nadia is a hard-working, passionate, and driven artist who continues to strive and work towards reaching new goals and improving as an entertainer. She is a loud advocate for the performing arts and is always looking forward to pushing and exploring her craft in exciting new opportunities.
