Mya Sivertson

Mya Sivertson started dancing at the age of 3 and she now trains in jazz, ballet, pointe, tap, lyrical, contemporary, modern, stage, and hip hop. Known for her strong work ethic and being detail-oriented, Mya loves how dance allows her to express herself through movement.

In 2021, Mya was chosen as the Level I Stage winner and in 2022 was awarded the Honourable Mention in the Level II Stage category at the BC Provincial Festival of the Arts. Mya worked as a dancer on the short film, Hairy Beast in Vancouver BC, which sparked her interest in acting. She regularly attends conventions and workshops to enhance her training and to take classes with those in the industry who she looks up to.

When she isn’t in the dance studio, Mya is a passionate student at her local high school where she has won several awards for her academic and volunteer efforts. In her spare time, this former competitive swimmer is carrying her speed down the local mountains on her bike in the summer or her skis in the winter. She cares about the environment and wants to make a difference in reducing climate change.
