Maya Franzoi is a Canadian actress born on August 4th, 2004 who began her career in local theatre. After performing in several productions, Maya expanded her acting and transitioned into film and television, landing a lead comedic role as Sammy the Elf in 48 Christmas Wishes (Netflix US). Shortly after, she was cast as Olivia, in the Netflix series Ponysitters Club, which ran for two seasons, and included two spin off feature films; Ponysitters Club: Fun at the Fair and Ponysitters Club: The Big Sleepover (Amazon Prime Video).

In addition, she was cast as a lead in the magic reality TV series, Thrillusionists (CBC Kids), the role of Tina in the TV series Ghostwriter (Apple TV+), as well as a principal role in Grand Army (Netflix). Most recently, Maya completed filming on Christmas in the Wilds with Brain Power Studio. Aside from filming, Maya is also an advocate for Teen Mental Health and avid filmmaker who runs her own Youtube Channel, posting documentary style videos.
