Martin Samuel

Born in Montreal, Martin Samuel is a multidisciplinary artist in Theatre, Dance, and Voice, having worked extensively in theatre, film, television and live performances alongside Lizza Minelli, Mariah Carey, Idina Menzel, Enrique Iglesias, Patti Label, Deborah Cox, and Kristin Chenoweth, to name a few. As a dual citizen, he splits his time between New York City and Canada, always striving for new artistic experiences and looking forward to new opportunities.

Martin’s French, Spanish, English and German fluency has enabled him to work around the globe. Theatrical credits include AIDA(Broadway),Dirty Rotten Scoundrels( National tour), The First Wives Club(World Premiere), Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express, Germany,Cats, – Rum Rum Tugger (European tour) alongside Pia Douwes, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Dony Osmond.
Film and TV credits: Queer as Folks, Harlem, The Strain, One Life to Live, Star Trek Discovery, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, Across the Universe, Once Upon a Mattress with Carol Burnett and the Oscar-winning film Chicago with Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zelwegger.

Martin has also appeared in numerous French and Latin Television shows. His work as a voice actor can be heard in commercials, radio ads, video games and cartoons. Fitness plays a key role in his career, where he has modelled for many brand advertisements, book covers, and fitness videos such as Insanity and Asylum by Shaun T. In the book Piel, Martin was honoured to be photographed by famed photographer Nicholas Felizola.
