Born in Montreal, Martin started singing and dancing at the age of 12 and made his professional debut at the age of 18 in a play in Toronto.

His talents as an actor, singer, dancer, model and choreographer have allowed him to work in theater, film, television and live performances alongside Enrique Iglesias, Mariah Carey, Patti Label, Lara Fabian, Taylor Dayne, Ginger Halloway, Orphelie Winter, Betty Davis, Deborah Cox and Leslie Nielson to name a few.

Martin’s facility with languages has enabled him to work throughout Canada, on Broadway in AIDA, first national tour of dirty rotten scoundrels and in Europe where he performed in English and German in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express. He interpreted the role of Rum Tum Tugger in Cats and toured in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat where he had the pleasure to work with Donny Osmond.

Television and film credits include the hit series Queer As Folk, Glitters, Witchblade, Me and My Shadow, Stormy Weather, 2001 and the Space Travesty, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, Across the Universe, Repo the Genetic Opera the Oscar-winning film Chicago with Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zelwegger and the television film, Once Upon a Mattress with Carol Burnett.

Now, being fluent in Spanish, Martin has appeared multiple Latin television series and honored as being the only non-Hispanic talent in the book, Piel, by photographer, Nicolas Felizola. To extend his print credits, Martin is the face and body of the New T-Shirt, RIPT, which will be in stores in the summer of ’09.

Now based in New York, Martin also had the pleasure to work alongside Shaun-T (creator of HIP HOP ABS) in his new fitness video (INSANITY).

This summer Martin will appear in the world premiere of Broadway-bound First Wives Club, The New Musical in San Diego.
