Lucas Gregory

Non Union

Lucas has been hooked on performing since he first sang Olaf’s ‘In Summer’ at his kindergarten talent show.

Ten years later, little ‘Olaf’ has grown into an exciting triple threat with a list of credits from Vancouver’s musical theatre scene. Memorable roles include Troy Bolton (High School Musical), Harold Hill (The Music Man) and Flick (A Christmas Story). Currently he is preparing for a lead role in the Metro Theatre’s production of Snow White.

Building on his natural talents, Lucas trains diligently with leading schools and coaches including Kimberly Markarian of Harmonia Vocal Studio, various instructors at the Vancouver Young Actors School, and with the North Shore Academy of Dancing in their elite half-day program, led by Dylan Steyns. He trains in all dance genres and enjoys competing in Hip Hop, Jazz, Broadway and Contemporary. His dedication has paid off with a healthy accumulation of gold medals from youth singing and dance competitions.

Lucas has a great passion for musical theatre. His leisure time is spent exploring musicals (old and new) and debating those productions and singing their show tunes with friends. He is a warm, caring and funny individual that always gives the best of himself to the people around him. He is a leader to whom people naturally gravitate to in the classroom, the studio and on the basketball court. His mantra is to enjoy the work, perform and grow.

Lucas lives Vancouver’s North Shore life but was born in Essex, England. He emigrated at age 3 with his mom, dad and younger sister and holds both Canadian and British citizenship. His big ambition is to tread the boards of London’s West End someday.
