Lisa Stevens is an award-winning stage and film choreographer who’s long list of credits span the globe. Her work on the 75 million earning DISNEY’S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 1 made it’s world premier in the US, then took the UK, Australia, Spain, Italy, Japan and the West End by storm. On it’s heels came DISNEY’S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 in the U.S. and U.K, both directed by Jeff Calhoun. Recent credits include the film DIARY OF A WIMPY KID 2, Dolly Parton’s U.S. Tour of 9 TO 5, the 2010 Olympics, and FIRST WIVES CLUB at the Old Globe in San Diego. Up and coming is Theater Calgary’s new production of CATS directed by Jacques Lemay, 9 TO 5 in the U.K. and Australia, and SYTYCD in the U.K.
Other memorable credits include choreographing the U.S. Tour of BOMBAY DREAMS which followed Broadway and the West End, where Lisa served as Associate Choreographer; the off-Broadway production of BINGO! THE MUSICAL; NYMF’s COMMON GROUNDS (Excellence in Direction and Choreography Award); DANCEBREAK 2006, repertoire for the Shanghai Ballet Company, the Haifax Ballet Company, and Celine Dion’s ensemble at Caesar’s Palace.
