Leke Maceda-Rustecki

ACTRA

As a young child Leke participated in the Canadian Opera Company’s after school program learning the fundamentals of putting an opera together from start to finish. He was in countless operas with a variety of story lines from “A Mid Summer Night’s Dream” to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. From those operas he contracted the acting fever. To Leke’s surprise he was given the opportunity to play one of the leading male roles in West Neighbourhoods House’s community opera “100 Years”.
Leke started acting professionally at 13 years old in Guillermo del Toro’s television series “The Strain” where he was featured in the second and third seasons. He was then cast in “Kia Drive Change 2015: Against Bullying” PSA. Leke made his voice acting debut in “The Magic School Bus Rides Again” and has since been featured in “Paw Patrol”.
Music occupies a large part of Leke’s interest, studying music for 10 years. He plays and performs the piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums and also sings. Lately he has been taking jazz and tap dance classes to enrich his performing abilities.
