Leah Thomas, a Toronto based artist who began her journey as a professional dancer at the young age of three. This versatile dancer trained for 14 years at Mississauga School of Dance in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, acrobatics, musical theatre and hip hop. While competing internationally Leah won prestigious awards, titles and scholarships at competitions such as; The Dance Awards, Tremaine and Artist Simply Human. In addition to earning Distinction in Grade 1-8 of Royal Academy of Dance Ballet syllabus examinations. At 21 years old Leah graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors Degree in Dance and Con-Current Education Degree in the Primary/Junior Division.

In recent years Leah has been fortunate enough to learn from artists such as; Tokyo, John Ottmann, David Norsworthy & Stacey Tookey, while performing in Contemporary Shows choreographed by Christina Digiuseppe and Echo Dance Company. As a Raptors 905 Saugacity Dancer/Captain she performs in the style of Jazz Funk and Hip Hop at over 30 NBA G League games.

Leah is known as a professional, hard-working and passionate artist who teaches and choreographs at competitive dance schools within the Greater Toronto Area. She continues to expand her vocabulary of movement by training with esteemed educators at Millennium Dance Complex Toronto, participates in Shavar Blackwood’s Training Program ‘Eye Candy’ and attends numerous conventions. Leah Thomas is going after her dreams and looks forward too many more opportunities in the entertainment industry.
