Lauren Denysek has become one of Canada’s most sought after performers. Her recent highlights include Disney’s ‘Descendants 2’ directed by Kenny Ortega, and the The CW’s ‘Riverdale’ where she worked closely with choreographer Heather Laura Gray. Lauren is a trusted assistant for Triple Threat Dance Convention and Menina Fortunato’s Hollywood Summer Tour. Having also worked with choreographers such as Kelly Konno, Antoine Troupe & Eden Shabtai, Lauren is known for the professionalism and commitment she brings to any project.
Most recently, Lauren has been touring the world with Royal Caribbean International as a dancer and aerialist on the world’s largest ship, Symphony of the Seas, where she performed in the Aqua Theatre. Lauren’s versatility has allowed her to complete three contracts with Royal Caribbean onboard Ovation, Anthem, and Symphony of the Seas, travelling to Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Caribbean.
Lauren’s training is extensive, having completed the ADAPT syllabus in Tap and Jazz, the graded and vocational syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance where holds an A.R.A.D. designation. Additionally, she is trained in voice, drama, percussion and various aerial apparatuses. Lauren has also been on faculty at Vancouver’s #1 drop-in studio, Harbour Dance Centre, teaching various disciplines and styles.
