From the young age of three, Lauren has always found love through the movement and expression of dance. Growing up on the stage, audiences are captivated by the raw emotion and passion behind each move. Her love of dance started with a ballet class and quickly moved to training in various styles including pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, Ukrainian, and musical theatre.

Lauren’s training is extensive, having completed the ADAPT syllabus in Tap and Jazz, the graded and vocational syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance and holds an A.R.A.D. designation. Additionally, she is trained in vocal, drama, and percussion.

Lauren has grabbed every opportunity to train including in New York, Toronto, and Los Angeles. She has continued to learn and develop through attendance at national and international conventions, workshops and competitions where she has been the recipient of awards and scholarships including Saskatchewan Youth Talent Search Jr & Sr Winner, a medalist with the Canadian Tap team and World Dance Cup Overall High Soloist.

Lauren moved to Vancouver to pursue a dance career. She has been a member of The Source Dance Company, KTL Co., and the professional division with Lux Dance Company.

She has done commercial video work for artists Tristan Thompson, Amanda Blush, David Morin and Natalie Lyons. She also has experience in making commercials, both television and radio. She has assisted for Triple Threat Dance Convention and Menina Fortunato (Hollywood Summer Tour) and was also a published author in the Winter 2014 “Just Dance” magazine. Working with choreographers such as Kelly Konno, Antoine Troupe & Eden Shabtai, Lauren always believes in giving her best to every project and bringing visions to life.

Throughout her years of being in Vancouver, she has become known for her diversity, and is a sought after performer, having performed in many events including The Main Event, iYi Inspired, Brilliant! St. Paul’s Hospital Fundraiser, to name a few. Lauren loves to share her passion and her enthusiasm. When asked why she performs, it is a simple reply…. “I can’t imagine doing anything else!”
