Laura June Ness is a dancer, singer, and actress with a passion for storytelling. She approaches her work with both discipline and intuition, always seeking to identify with each character she portrays to bring each role to life.

Some of Laura’s career highlights include: working with Tony nominated Lynne Taylor- Corbett on Norwegian Cruise Line’s SWING! The Musical, being a part of the closing cast of OMD II the Magic Lives On and performing as a featured aerialist in King Triton’s Concert at Tokyo Disney Resort, singing and dancing in Alice in Wonderland during the festival of Eid in Doha, Qatar, working on set for the debut season of Gen V, and being a part of the ensemble in Aladdin, Frozen, and Believe onboard the Disney Fantasy. Laura is also excited to soon be making her debut with the Canadian Opera Company in Don Giovanni.

Laura began her dance training at Canadian Dance Company, where she had the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s top choreographers and travel across the globe for conventions and competitions. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with honours from Toronto Metropolitan University, where she was able to evolve into the multi- fasciated performer she is today. She currently continues to take classes with the some of the best instructors in Toronto.

Laura specializes in partner work and has also trained in various aerial apparatuses including: Spanish web, hoop, and two point harness. She also has experience working as a swing, and loves the additional challenge that this role requires.

When Laura is not onstage she enjoys spending time giving back to her community. She spent two years volunteering with Dramaway, a theatre program for youth and adults with special needs. Laura is now a working as a volunteer at Sick Kids hospital, spending a few hours each week playing with children and assisting families in need.

Laura truly believes the sky is the limit. She looks forward to taking on new challenges and continuing to grow in the entertainment industry. Her dream is to continue to uplift audiences and inspire future generations to never stop chasing their dreams.
