Khiyla Aynne is an 8 year old with a larger than life personality and a sense of humour well beyond her years. She began dancing as soon as her feet first touched the ground and enrolled in her first dance classes at the age four. Her favourite styles of dance are hip hop and dancehall. Khiyla is a competitive dancer and trains in various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, acro (tumbling), musical theatre, hip hop, dancehall, jazz funk, afro, modern, lyrical and contemporary.

She has a very strong work ethic and her strong passion for dance is her driving force to push her training to the next level by participating in workshops and drop in classes in Toronto, Canada and throughout the United States.

Khiyla has won multiple awards and scholarships including The PULSE on Tour 2016 Battle Royale Semi-Finalist, a full scholarship to RIM – Rhythm In Motion Dance Convention as well as Buildabeast Experience 2016 in Los Angeles, California. Khiyla is also a 2016-2017 Camp PULSE Counselor. As a Counselor she trains with world-renowned choreographers and has the opportunity to work with the staff in order to gain perspective in all avenues of the dance industry while assisting the students and faculty across Canada and the United States.

Khiyla is no stranger to performing for large crowds. She was one of four children chosen to dance on stage with Justin Bieber during his song “Children” at the Air Canada Centre for the Purpose World Tour.

She has been featured in numerous viral dance videos with millions of views to date, many of which can be found featured on Ellen Tube. Khiyla has been given the stage name Khiy Khiy and has worked with various recording artists and has been a part of international dancehall music videos for Mr. Vegas, Kardinall Offishall and Dingdong.

Khiyla has a heart of gold and she loves to give back to her community. She has had the honour of being the Hostess for the CIBC Run For The Cure Celebrity Serving night at Boston Pizza. Khiyla also helped lead approximately 3000 participants through a warm up and stretch at the Opening Ceremonies of the Great Camp Adventure Walk to benefit The Hospital for Sick Children. She is now counting down the days until she is old enough to volunteer at local animal shelters.

In her spare time Khiyla loves to sing, go horseback riding, read and play with her friends. When she grows up she wants to be a professional dancer, choreographer, actress, singer and Veterinarian.
