At 10 years old Khiyla Aynne’s film credits include a Lead role as Trish on Ponysitters Club (2018) season one and two, a Netflix Original Series. She appeared as Sherry the Time Elf in the film 48 Christmas Wishes (2017) by Gaumont. As Host, Khiyla taught viewers how to make Cheesy inspired recipes for Cheesy’s Magic Kitchen (2018) on the Family Channel.

She has also appeared in numerous television commercials for Hatchimals (2017), Cool Maker (2017), Spin Master (2017) and Triangle by Canadian Tire (2018) where she had the opportunity to travel to Chile.

Khiyla’s most memorable dance performance to date was when she performed as a Featured Guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (2017). Khiyla also performed with Justin Bieber during his song “Children” at the Air Canada Centre for the Purpose World Tour (2016). She has worked with various recording artists in music videos for Hedley, Mr. Vegas and Kardinal Offishall.

Khiyla has won multiple awards and scholarships including The PULSE on Tour Battle Royale Semi-Finalist, Monsters of Hip Hop, Buildabeast Experience and Broadway Dance Centre. Khiyla is also a 2016-2018 Camp PULSE Counselor. As a Counselor she trained with world-renowned choreographers and had the opportunity to work with staff in order to gain perspective in all avenues of the dance industry while assisting the students and faculty across Canada and the United States.

With a strong sense of compassion Khiyla enjoys giving back to her community. She regularly volunteers her time to read to various types of animals as part of the ADHS Reading Program at her local animal shelter. Khiyla also helped in leading approximately 3000 participants through a warm up stretch for the Opening Ceremony of the Great Camp Adventure walk to benefit The Hospital for Sick Children. She has had the honour of being the Hostess for the CIBC Run For The Cure Celebrity Serving night at Boston Pizza.

When Khiyla grows up she aspires to continue her passion to perform as an actress, dancer and choreographer. Her love of animals has guided her plans to pursue a career as Veterinarian.
