Kathleen Zaccheo has worked as a singer, actor, teacher and director throughout Ontario for the past nine years.
Performance credits include featured ensemble roles in My Fair Lady and Evita, Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Martha in The Secret Garden, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Ado Annie in Oklahoma and Diana Barry in Anne of Green Gables, for which she was nominated for both a Bloom Award and a Thea Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Musical. She studied classical performance at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in London, England, scene study, voice-over and on-camera work at Equity Showcase Theatre and Sears & Switzer, and musical theatre performance with renowned Canadian performers such as Elaine Overholt, Sharron Matthews and David Dunbar.
Kathleen has also worked extensively behind the scenes: she has assistant directed the St. Clement’s / Crescent schools’ co-productions of Pippin, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Kiss Me Kate and Bye Bye Birdie and, as a teacher, she has created and implemented drama programs for both Havergal College and The Bishop Strachan School.
