“A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others.”
– Salvador Dali

A curl-hair-gal with a big, bright smile! Katherine Gayle is a Jamaican-born native and a well- around artist based in Toronto, ON. Her love for the arts started when her mother brought her to watch Swan Lake. The atmosphere and the energy of this performance fuelled her to become involved in the arts.

She started dancing at the age of 4 and has never looked back. Growing up, she’s sung on various church choirs and immersed herself in gospel music which grew her love of singing.

She attended Cawthra Park Secondary School and majored in Dance. Throughout her journey, she’s trained in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, acro, gymnastics and musical theatre.

In 2015, she was cast as a dancer for the Pan Am Games Opening Ceremony under Cirque du Soleil and Luther Brown. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, Health Science and Dance from York University. Since finishing her degree, she’s pursued a career in digital marketing.

She has then had the privilege to perform in projects like Netflix’s Feel The Beat, Breakfast Television feature with Shawn Desman and Charmaine’s “BOLD” music video. She’s a hard- working, passionate artist, ready to share her talent with the world.
