Justina Janzen started dancing at the age of six. Over the years she has won many scholarships, awards and has held multiple titles; Junior Miss Dance Canada, Intermediate Miss Shine Dance Acro, Limitless Dancer, Nexus Protégé and most recently Senior Miss Dance Canada . She was a member of the 2014 and 2015 Team Canada Ballet Jazz and Modern teams, bringing home a total of 8 medals (3 Gold, 2 Silver, 3 Bronze) Justina is very versatile and excels in many different areas including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, acro, contemporary, hip-hop, lyrical and musical theatre.

In addition to dancing Justina also takes music lessons. She started singing lessons at the age of 12. She has competed in a number of music festivals over the last few years. She was named “Most Promising Musical Theatre Performer” and was also a provincial finalist between 2014 and 2019. Justina has taken piano lessons and some introductory lessons on the flute clarinet and guitar, as well.
Justina had the opportunity to perform with Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo, as well as other dancers from Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance, in the stage production Dance Star at the Avalon Ballroom Theatre. She always loves to perform in front of a live audience, however has more recently found a love for performing in front of the camera, as well. She was a dancer in the Hallmark Movie “A Nutcracker Christmas”, as well as in the short films “Lost Penny” and “The Violinist” She had lead acting roles in the short films “Glass Slipper” and “Fever” and did the voice of “Susie” in the animated series “Sea Kids”.

Justina recently graduated from the DNA Arts program at Laura Secord Secondary School, where she was an honour student, all four years of high school. She is currently continuing her training in dancing, acting and vocal.

Justina is dedicated, focused and has a great work ethic.
