Justin Anthony
Actor, Writer
UBCP Apprentice
“Lovers and madmen have such seething brains,
Such shaping fantasies, that apprehend
More than cool reason ever comprehends.”
– Theseus, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare

Justin first began performing by interpreting Shakespeare for the stage. In preparation of moving to Vancouver and beyond he spent years in his native province Alberta exploring theatre through works by Neil Simon and Christopher Durang with accolades. He has since continued training after film and theatre school with the likes of Aaron Craven, Andrew McIlroy, and Nadine Wright.

Having written an award-winning one-act at age 17, Justin has gone on to be a part of writing and performing in many internationally recognized shorts: the International Film Race Festival and the Leo Award Nominated sci-fi Soldiers of Earth.

The most recent venture for Justin is producing. He created Savvy Empire Productions with colleague Starlise Waschuk. Credits include Elephant on the Hill, Jaded, and the comedy series Life After Beth.

Before acting, singing was Justin’s passion. He started young with private lessons, high school choir and then starring in musicals; a highlight being Charlie in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Outside of acting, gymnastics, and playing ukulele, Justin is an avid vegan. He hopes to constantly bring awareness and education about the topic through his passion of performing.

And now, after a coupe of stints on Untold Stories of the ER, multiple short films and the experience of a lifetime on Star Trek Beyond, Justin is geared up for what is still to come.
